N.Z. PRISONERS IN TURKEY.
AN ADDITIONAL LIST. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, January 29. The Hon. Jas. Alien has received from the High Commissioner the following additional list of members of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force who are prisoners of war in Turkey:—Sergt. Gordon Galway, of the 2nd Wellington Mounted Rifles, Troopers C. C. Bowen, J. C. McLennan, D. McLeod, W. M. Martin, Arthur Pearce, D. L. Quintal, J. H. Saunders, all of 'the Auckland Mounted Rifles, and all of whom were captured at Afiori Kara Hissar.
The Minister has also received advice that owing to the peculiar circumstances prevailing in Turkey special arrangements have been made for remittance money to New Zealand soldiers who are prisoners in that country.
