Received Januarv 29; 12.15 p.m. . NEW YORK, January 28. The New York Tinges *aas received an authentic story as to Germany’s rule in Poland. The conquerors have looted Vilna, where the death-rate has increased four-fold, and the food seized and resold to the inhabitants. The stores have been sacked and the contents taken to Berlin. There is an increasing search for money, commercial life has been suppressed, and forced labouf; for serai-military purjmses is universal, including septugenarians Many workers have been deported to Germany. Food is so scarce that the Germans have a factory in Vilna for treating horseflesh.
