AMUSEMENTS AND MEETINGS

THE GRAND THEATRE. “THE LOVE MASK.” There was a packed house at the Grand Theatre' last evening when the new programme was presented. Miss Cleo Ridgely made a great impression with her portrayal of a Western horsewoman, with har daring riding. Wallace Reid, who supports Miss Ridgely, is a, beau ideal of a romantic actor, and in this production he figures as a burly blacksmith and the sheriff of a lawless district, and has more than once to sacrifice his sense of duty in order to protect the object of his affection. The supporting pictures irclude the popular “Broken Coin” (episode No. 11); Miss Ella Hall, the charming little actress, appears in the five-act drama “Little Eva Edgarton”; Ham and Bud comedians in “Ham, the Fortune Teller,” “Tangled by Telephone,” and the Eclair Journal, completed the programme. Seats may be reserved at Allden’s. Patrons are advised to go early to-night. The programme commences at 7 p.m., and no picture is shown twice. There will be a special children’s matinee tomorrow. ,
