Mr Hodge is forming a committee of employers and employeds, with five hundred local committees, to deal with post-war employment. The Government is proposing to acquire certain Indian tea crops for the troops’ requirements. The Right Hon- Lloyd George has appointed an inter-departmental commuted, under Sir A. Mond, to conaider demands for accommodation from various departments. It is understood fat there have been complaints as to the extensive taking over of hotels, etc., and it may be necessary in the fakore to convince the. new committee p- |o the extensions necessary. ’»/ '
