MORE GERMAN HATE.
(Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) AMSTERDAM, September 23. Leading Berlin newspapers give prominence to a manifesto issued from the People’s Committee for the speedy defeat of England. It says: “The military and economical investments of our people are ever growing more stringent. New countries are openly joining our enemies. We must be prepared to sea other States doing the same. Neutral States who will not commit military hostilities are forced to economic hostilities. Peace is further off than .ever. England’s strength is still unbroken, and prevents the Allies from seeking a separate peace. The only way to conquer England is by a sharper application of war on sea and in the air. When England is laid low the war will come to a speedy and victorious end’.’ AUSTRALIAN CASUALTIES. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) SYDNEY, September 24.
