Over a. thousand employees in Australian woollen mills have struck because they are hob allowed to participate in the bonus paid to foremen. Military contracts are held up. STILL ANOTHER STRIKE. SYDNEY, October 22. The carpenters and bricklayers erecting the new military camp at Liverpool struck as a protest against the authorities’ refusal to pay the railway fares to reach the work. The strike has seriously inconvenienced the accommodation of recruits.
