NINTH REINFORCEMENTS.

ARRANGEMENTS ALTERED. MEN TO GO ON MONDAY. The local Defence Office received word to-day, altering the arrangements by which the men who were to have gone to Trentham to join the 9th Reinforcements were to leave to-morrow.. Saturday is a day on which general leave is given at Trentham Camp, consequently there would be very few on duty to meet the men in the evening, and to arrange for their accommodation. In conseit lias been decided that the men will leave Wanganui on Monday morning next instead. Those who were going will please note tire change in arrangements, and can gain any further information at the Defence Office.' 6ENO-OFP TO-NIGHT AT DUSTIN'S. To-night a public send-off will be given in Dustin’s rooms to the men of the 9th Reinforcements who are going to Trentham on Monday morning. The function will commence at 8 p.m. Although the notice is short, the Mavoress and the ladies’ committee are arranging a suitable programme to ensure an enjoyable owning. .All the public, including ladies, are coidialiy invitee!.
