Joseph C handler, the sob owner of the vast Tatlow*. potteries, is or the verge of ruin, when one of his men Cyrus (Blinkarn (Albert Chevalier) dis covers a new glaze. This Chandler purchases for £o and soon makes a big fortune out of it. He takes Blinkarnb. daughter into his house- as companion to his daughter, and there Julian Chandler, the the son, .falls in love 'with "the girl anc promises to marry her. The old man, how ever, has other views, and the son .is sent off to Africa. Mary Blinkarn. to hide her'shame, loaves her father’s home and Blinkarn swears 1 vengeance on the bouse of Chandler. Rash speculation; again place,. Chandler in financial difficul ties, and Blinkarn discovers a new pro cess and buys up the pottery works anf Chandler’s home. His vengeance give, him no pe.ace, for he still longs for hidaughter. It is at this stage that Cha-ud let’s son returns a hero from Africa, find; the girl in London, and brings her as hji l wife to the father. A happy re-union i: the result. There are many stirring in cidents in the play, and the powerfu acting of Albert Chevalier makes the picture a great success. Other picture? are: “Tire Suitors and a Dog,” comedy: European Gazette, “Western Norway in Snow.” and “Forcing Dad’s Consent,” comedy.
