ANOTHER BATCH FOR TRENTHAM.

Os Tuesday morning next, by the seven o’clock train, a party often non-commis-sioned officers will leave Wanganui for the training camp at Trentham, and we think it will be agreed that a fitting acid-off. should be given them. There was a splendid publio demonstration when the last reinforcements left a few days ago, but as the services of every man fights ing for his country should be recognised, it will probably appeal to all that ten men should be sent off just as heartily as if they numbered a hundred. We therefore commend the idea to the proper authorities, suggesting that the Band, Territorials, National Reserve, and the general public should combine to let the non-coms, in question feel that their fellow citizens wish them the best of fortune in their great. adventure. ,
