FREE RAILWAY TICKETS FOR RELATIVES. (By Telegraph.—Special to “Herald ”) ‘WELLINGTON, September 1. Mr Okey asked the Minister of. Defence yesterday afternoon whether tile relatives,of wounded soldiers arriving by i the Tahiti would bo' allowed* to. travel free to the nearest port of call, , to meet their boys. - The Hon. Mr Allen replied' that the same procedure would be followed as in ■ the case of the Willoebra’s arrival. If parents and next-of-kin of wounded soldiers presented to : jtlie .railway station-' -.in sister the notification informing them that their soil or relative was returning by. the -Tahiti'or the ‘ Aparima, the -sta-tion-master W.oiiid issue tickets to them. If the . soldier "was entitled to a ; firstclass ticket, then .'first-class” ■ tickets ' would be: issued to uext-qt-km, dud so with second;elas.s tickets.
