The tiny tots of the Central Infants’ school were unanimous in giving up this year’s prizes for tho benefit of the Belgian children, and Miss Alexander, head mistress, called a meeting of mothers on Friday afternoon to make arrangements for a sale of work, etc., to bo held on Thursday afternoon next, from 2 till 5. Tnero ,werc over 30 ladies present, who at once formed themselves into a committee. There will be “Tho infants’ stall,” sweets, cakes, produce, jumble, ice cream stalls, and afternoon tea. Old boys and girls of the school are asked to send donations for any of the stalls, and to come themselves ahd make tho affair a huge success. Last, but not least, will be tho Xmas tree, which will bo laden with hundreds of gifts. The sale will bo on Thursday, from 2 till 5. “HERALD’’ FUND.
