Loan and 'Mercantile Agncy Co., Ltd., report having held their, i.niiii monthly sale on Thursday, 26th- November, 1914, when they submitted 'the following catalogue:—49 bales and 71 bags wool, 9057 sheepskins, hides andcaTskins, 7 casks and 80 tins tallow, ;55 ' ngs bones, etc. .Buyers attended in lull force. Competition for all produce offered . was very keen. Our selection of wool coa-.i-t-, ed of oddments and a few bales of av< i ■ age cru tellings. Extreme prices wore »e;d for sheepskins, while hides met a strong market. Tallow, though still low -u value, is in better demand at b-hte'; mohey than has been rendered since war began. : , \Ve quote wool: Crossbred fleece, lo 9Jd per lb; bush stained and seedy liivce from (s~d to BJd; crntchings from 7d to 7^d; inferior crntchings from s|d to 6-Id; dead wool B}d; pieces of bellies 10 Cjd; locks od to sld lb.

Tallow: Casks.’in shipping condition to £22. 10s per ton; tins 18s 6d per, cwt. Bones. *4 10s per ton. Horse hair Is 6d per lb. Cowtails Is 6d per doz. Next sale 17tli Decembers Produce to reach us by 12th December. Owing to late arrival a large number of cons’gnments had to he, shut-out from last Thursday’s sale. The market is strong ‘ at’present for all produce. We strongly recommend our clients to send their consignments forward promptly, and thus make sure of the good prices ruling.
