MELBOURNE, July 11. The Hon. Mr Glynn states that analysis of oil from Papua has shown that the deposits are equal in the more important features to those of Java and Sumatra, which are regarded as the best in the world. Experts believe that at a 1000 ft level the supplies would be sufficiently large to make the Papuan fields commercially successful.
