Captain Martlett, who is awaiting a United States revenue cutter to proceed to the rescue of the shipwrecked Steffanson expedition party, who arc marooned on Wrangell Island, states that ho knows nothing of the loss of eight men, as reported to the Government. Captain Bartlett added that the men who left Wragnell Island to secure the provisions saved when the Karluok was wrecked, are bol'oved to be safe. No others aio imperilled.
