SEAMEN’S CONFERENCE.

WELLINGTON, njly 9, A conference of the various Mew Zealand branches of the Seamen’s Union will be opened at Auckland on Monday for the purpose of considering the advisability of reorganising the Seamen’s Federation and making the rules of the different branches uniform. The proceedings are expected to last several (lays.
