DRAUGHTS.
A TELEGKAPH MATCH. BETWEEN 1 NEW PLYMOUTH AND WANGANUI A telegraphic draughts’ match has becii arranged to take pjaco on Saturday evening between teams in Wanganui and New Plymouth. The teams will be composed of eight men each and the games will commence at 7.30. New Plymouth’s team will bo composed of the following players; —Messrs Bruce, Chant, Davey, Page, Jensen, Watson, Knight, McPhearson. Wanganui’s team will he picked from the following Messrs Holmes; Phillips, AnderV.on, McCosh, A Homes, Kegarie, Beadley, fbobard, Wallace. Burnett, Williams, PAbcrtson, Kirch, Lovegrove. and Frase".' It is hoped that all the players named will turn up,, so that a'.team fully representative of the town and district will be available.
