. NOETHIiRN LEAGUE. The Wanganui League Management Committee received a wire on TiteSday suggesting that tlic K nglish fixture with Wanganui be played on July Kith instead of July 30th. The committee held a- special meeting to make all arrangements for the match .and gave instructions for advertising, etc., when a later wire was received stating that the original date of July 30th will be the day on which the English march will be played here, as the British team are adhering to the arrangements first mapped out. The team as advertised in the paper is still subject to alteration, as the selectors have had an A and B match set down for Saturday beforemaking the final selection. The following will play for the 11 reprenentative team against the A team on Saturday i--Fnll hack.—'Williams. Three-quarters.—O'Grady, Murray, Callaghan. Five-eighths.—Harris and Johns. Half.—Scobie. Forwards,—Marie (Infoker), Greenlees Mr-Naught, Cumberbcach, Cottcrell, Purvis. The following is the A team:—• Full back.—Patterson. Three-quarters.—Hogg, Siddolls, Pascoo.
