WANGANUI GOLF CLUB. The monthly bogey match, which was held last Saturday, attracted a very large number of competitors. The winner of the senior medal was E. C. Fletcher, who returned t'ne very good score of 1 up. This is the first occasion this season on which a medal winner has been up on bogey, and the winner is to be congratulated on getting back to something like his old form. The junior match was won by J. M. Hussey, who was 4 down. The following are the chief scores:—Senior—E. C. Fletcher, 1 np; W. G. Glasgow, 2 down; J. Cameron, 3 down; A. H. Lewis, 4 down; H. W. Kelly, 4 down; W. Meldourn, 4 down. Junior—J. M. Hussey, 4 down: A. H. Boyle, 5 down; R. J. Johnston, 5 down; Rev. Stratford, 6 down. Douglas, the club’s professional, has returned from Nelson, and is again very husy giving lessons on the links. Large entries have been received for the Finlay Cup. The handicaps and draw will be published in a day or two.

MAROEO G'OLF CLUB. The mouthy bogey match will be played on the Maroro Units. Both Thursday and Saturday players will arrange their own pairs, and cards must be handed in by Monday, 13th inst.
