COMMISSION’S FINDING ON SATURDAY. ' STORSTAD SOLD. Press Association—Telegraph—Copyright. Received July 8. 9.55 a.m. OTTAWA, July 7. The Empress of Ireland commission’s judgment is expected on Saturday. The steamer Storstad had been sold under the Admiralty Court’s order, and fetched £55.00(7 her purchasers being tile original owners. The Storstad is held as security for damages in the action brought at the instance of the Canadian-Pacific Company, and slio will be released when the purchase money is paid. RELIEF FUND.
LONDON, July 7. The sombined funds in aid of sufferers by t'ue wreck of the Empress of Ireland amount to £BB,OOO.
