Mr .V. 0. Toop returned from Sydney to-duy. ' Mr N. K. r*un, of Christchurch. lias entered into partnership whh J. M. Hussey. of the Main Trunk, and they will practice as barristers and solicitors at Wanganui, under the firm name of Cain and Hussey. The congregation of the Mathieson Street Church of Christ last, evening gave a farewell social to the /pastor, Mr 11. Grinstead, who left for Wellington today to conduct a three months' evangelistic mission there. “
