MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Wanganui County Council was held to-day, there being present—Crs. Poison (chairman), Vhi.eman, Glenn, Allen, Biggie, Fietchrr ind Collier. .GENERAL BUSINESS. MEETING—It was deckled to hold the lext ordinary meeting on April 7th. A •pedal meeting to confirm the new tele ahone by-laws will also be held on that day. TELEPHONE , BY-LAWS—The tele oiione by-laws were passed, to be confirm ad on April 7th. UPOKONGARO- FERRY.—The Wan ga.Hui Education Hoard wrote urging on tho county tlw necessity for ro-ouening the Upokongaro ferry, as its closure was a great inconvenience to a numb w ol children..
