The Sydney swimmers made their sacond ! appearance at tho Auckland carnival, in the Albert Street fresh water baths last night. The results of the carnival were as follows: Relay Race—Miss Ferguson and F. Hickson 1, Miss White and W. Gibbons 2. 100 yds Championship of Auckland—M. Champion 1, Sinton 2. Time, 1.1 3-5. Durak Handicap, 3Gyds—Barns (Gave) 1. Enwright (2Jsec) 2. Won by inches. Time, 22sec. Goregillan Handicap, for ladies; 50yds —Miss Durack (scr.) 1. Miss Farquhar 2. Time, 30sec. New Zealand record. Hardwick Handicap, 100yds—Campbell G2sec) L Peatry (12sec) 2. Won by 2ft. Time, 1.12. Neat Header—Miss Durack 1. Visitors Handicap, 40yds final—Hardwick (scr.) 1, Champion (scr.) 2. Masters arid Sinton also started. Champion and Hardwick were alomst even till the. last two laps when Hardwick, who had gained perceptibly by greater cleverness in turning, now forged slowly ahead. Won by three yards *dmid great excitement. Time, 5.35.
