A meeting of Methodists in connection with the conference, inaugurated a thanksgiving fund to mark the centenary of Methodism in Australia. The sum of over £7OOO was promised in the room. It is stated that, there are now--995 ministers and 621,374 attendants in the Methodist Churches in Australia and the Pacific Islands.
