A WILD-GOOSE CHASE.
NO HARVEST WORK IN SOUTHLAND. (Per United Press Association.) GORE, March 6. One of tho local labour agents says that over 100 men from tho North have called on him for harvesting work during ten days. The harvest here is practically over, and tho men will not take other work. .Some of tho men have come from as far north as Auckland.
