Mr Ramsay Macdonald was addressing the Labour party at the Memorial Hall when suffragettes took charge of the meeting for aa hour. They called Mr Macdonald a traitor. Many free fights occurred before the women were ejected. They fought with frenzy and violence. Chairs were hurled and sticks used, glass doors and windows being smashed.
