ENGLISH TERRITORIALS.

(Times-Sydney Sun Special Service.) (By Telegraph.) LONDON, February 10. At the prize-giving to the field ambulance, Lord Bingham said that the Territorials considered national service was necessary, but neither side in Parliament was able to bring it in, and, anyway, the country would not have it, therefore it was the duty of the Territorials to mainlain their efficiency and provide a good framework for national service.

Major-General Lloyd declared that it women gave a backing to the Territorial force it would be full to overflowing. He had never heard jibes and ridiculous taunts against the Territorials. Numbers were lacking, but he doubted whether there was a better second line in Europe.
