BOXING.
WANGANUI AMATEUR ASSOCIATION. The full programme for the tournament to ho hold o)i Friday, the • -23 rd inst., in the Opera' House, by the Wanganui Amateur' Boxing Association, has boon practically arranged. In addition to tho big match for a £7O purse between Carney Ireland arid AV. Bartlett, the following amateur bouts have been definitely' 'fixed up:—Bond v. Thomas light-weight), Crotty v'. G. Delaney (light-weight), and Callaghan y. Symes (welter-weight). These three bouts will bo of G rounds "(2 minutes) each;' and they should serve as splendid curtain raisers for the big clash between 1 Ireland and Bartlett. Great interest is being taken in the meeting of these two latter men, and a most exciting contest is anticipated., and one which is expected to go the rail 15 rounds.
