THE NEW MODEL "TRIUMPH’ ARRIVES. To improve upon the 1912-13 Triumph would seem to most experienced motorcyclists an almost impossible task, something akin to the painting of the lily or gilding refined gold. The Triumph has for many years set the World’s standard in motor cycles, and its supremacy has not yet been seriously threatened. It has not been necessary to correct faults in its design, for none existed, but in the new models which have just arrived there are definite and distinct improvements in matters of detail, One of the most important of these is the new concave piston head which has enhanced the enormous power and wonderful flexibility . which have always characterised the Triumph engine, The new 3-speed Triumph is the latest word in side car machines, and prospective purchasers are invited to call at our Avenue shop and see this. The Triumph successes in the local competition continue unabated. Saturday at the New Brighton Beach the Triumph made the fastest time of any single cylinder, machine in all . three events, "in the eight mile side car event F. Haworth (Triumph) made the fastest time of any single cylinder machine, and G . B. Browii (Triumph) made the second fastest time in the single cylinder class.
