He had previously been giving in a mysterious manner at Kensington, whence he fled after a strange German had ransacked his rooms and letters. The mv.-nry has been increased by tho real Hunseheidt reappearing. He states that the dead man was named Ritter, and that ho stoic his passport after engaging him as interpreter. The police are doubtful whether it is a case -of espionage, or a love mystery.
