Whitoley, secrotary of the Labour Press Company, has been arrested for printing suffragette literature. A PILGRIMAGE. ~LONDON, May 10. The National Union of Woman’s Suffrage is arranging for a pilgrimage .of seventeen processions from all parts of the country to London, carrying out propaganda work en route, and to attend a service at St. Paul’s on the 27th July. MORE OUTRAGES. LONDON, May 10. Suffragettes cut the seats and fittings of a taxi-cab wherein they were riding. The damage amounted to £lO. A clockwork bomb with suffragette literature was found in- the sorting department of the Reading post office addressed to an official at the Town Hall. A bomb in the waiting room at Lime Stroot station, Liverpool, was inscribed, “Votes for Women.” The taper attached had, flickered out before reaching the powder. ANOTHER CASE OF ARSON. LONDON, 1 May 11. Farrington Hall..'the Dundee residence of Mr Henry McGrady, a former London Provost, was bunied in six places simultaneously/ 1 It’ is believed the Suffragettes were responsible. Damage amounting to £IO,OOO. was done. £60,000 DAMAGE IN A WEEK. Received May 12, 8.45 a.m. LONDON, May 11. , Suffragettes broke into an unoccupied bouse at Newcastle, but were discovered, and decamped, leaving a pail of inflammable material, two tins of petrol, and firelighters. A largo empty bouse at Beckenham has been burned. , The total damage inflicted by suffragettes last week is estimated at £50,000. DISTURBANCES AT HYDE PARK. WOMEN ROUGHLY HANDLED. Received Mav 12. 1.35 p.m. LONDON, May 11. During the suffragist disturbances at Hyde Park one of the speakers (Mrs Lorry) was knocked over, and other, women were roughly handled. The police rescued them. ,
