An airmen’s convention at New Jersey discussed the practicability of using aeroplanes for extinguishing fires. Most of the members thought the idea absurd. Others saw no reason why fire extinguishing chemicals could not be u4&l similarly t) bomb dropping in warfare. The use of aeroplanes for skvscrapor fir"- was particularly recommended.
