At our Wanganui sale on Wednesday, 19th inst., we had a full yarding, viz 200 cattle, 5100 sheep, and 90 pigs. The attendance was good. All classes of wethers and good lambs sold well, but ewes in lamb were somewhat neglected. We sold a fair proportion of the yarding at ruling rates. Pigs sold at advanced prices. At our Waverley sale on Friday, 21st inst., we yarded about 300 head of cattle and 2200 sheep. We had a good attendance of buyers, and practically all the sheep sold. We quote:—■ At Waverley.—Four and 6-tooth wethers, 13s to 13s lOd; medium 2-tooth wethers, 12s Id; good hoggets, 10s Id to lis; medium. 9s 7d to 9s 9d; fair hoggets, 7s 2d to 7s Gd; small do., 4s 9d; fat"wethers and ewes, 15s 8d to, 15a lid; full m. ewes in lamb, 7s 6d to 8s lOd; medium do., 5s to 6s; empty ewes, forward and fat, lis Id. Springing cow (good), 9s lOd; medium do., £4 10s to £5 2s (id; others, £3 10s.to £4; empty cows,' £3 3s; 2-year heifers and steers, £3 14s to £3 17s. '

At Wanganui.—Good lambs 9s to 10s, medium lambs 8s to 8s Gd, small lambs 3s to ss, empty ewes 7s to 8s fid, medium 5s to 6s, 4-th wethers 13s Id to 13s 4d. fresh wethers 12s 3d, 2-th wethers lis 8d to 12s Bd, medium lis 7d to lis Kid, small "do., lbs, 2-th ewes (good) 13s 4d, small do. 9s to 10s 9d, full m. ewes in lamb 8s 6d to 8s lOd, medium do., 5s to 7s 6d, fat ewes 12s, fat ewes and wethers 14s, fat wethers 15s 4d to 16s 3d, fat cows (good) £7, liglit £6, store cows £2 17s Gd to £3 10s, 18-month heifers £3 4s.
