QUEENSLAND BUCAR DISPUTE. Waterside Workers In Sympathy. Press Association.—Telegraph.—Copyright. MELBOURNE, July 21. A meeting of the Council of the Waterside Workers' Federation, Hon. Win. Hughes, Federal Attorney-General, presiding, confirmed the decision of the Executive not to handle non-Uniou sugar, during the currency of the Queensland dispute. Eeceived July 22, 10.20 a.m. BRISBANE, July 22. Two strikers were fined for assaulting a free lacbourcr. : ■*s The whole of the hands at the MiHaqnin refinery havn left work. Work is proceeding in a number of centres with the assistance of farmers, clerks, and other permanent hands. At the conclusion of the Cabinet meeting the Premier stated that tho strike had reached a stage for serious consideration, but not warranting intervention.
