IMPERIAL IDEAS. SPEECH BY SIR JOSEPH WARD. Sir Joseph Ward, speaking at a large mass meeting of upwards of 5000 British and colonial students of the International Correspondence Schools, Held at the Festival of Empire, Crystal Palace, London, congratulated Iho organisation on having 160,000 students in Great Britain and the colonies. He said he would follow the Australian Postmaster-General’s example, and urge the officials of the Postal Department in New Zealand to join the schools. The Imperial Conference delegates would be glad to receive the assistance of any institution similar to this in disseminating Imperial ideas. Testimony such as that given by Sir Joseph Ward cannot he overlooked. Our readers are, perhaps, not all aware that this great educational instution is within easy reach of every ambitious man, woman, or child throughout this Dominion.
