OPENING THE NEW BUILDINGS.

As we go to press, his Excellency Lord Islington is performing the ceremony of officially opening the new college. His Excellency arrived by special train- art 1 o'clock, and was met by the College trustees, with whom he lunched at the Rutland Hotel. At 3 o’clock he drove tp the college, where he was received by' the trustees and the headmaster. Lord uliagtoh was presented by the contractor with a silver key, with which' he opened the door of the college, and after a short cere, mony in the great hall, which was crowded with old boys and friends of the school, was to be entertained by the truetees, afterwards making a tour of the whole of the college. ~.
