ADELAIDE, April 17. The steamer Modltau was quarantined on arrival, with a case of smallpox aboard. The victim is a second-class Australian passenger, who joined the vessel in India. STRICT PRECAUTIONS. Received April 18, 8.15 a.m. MELBOURNE, April 18. Strict precautions are being taken in connection with the smallpox outbreak. The Mooltan, on arrival, will be quarantined, and the passengers vaccinated. The passengers who landed at Fremantle, have been ordered to report.
