The Government has issued a strong manifesto to the nation, and described monarchy as regime treachery and robbery. The Government beseeches the citizens to bury their private rivalries and unite in choosing for Parliament men distinguished for their honesty and competency in order to normalise conditions, and thus definitely consecrate the Republic.
