PURUA ROAD BOARD.
The ordinary monthly meeting of tho above waa held yesterday. Present Messrs Whiteman (chairman), AV. Bamber, and E. Cranstone, An apology for absence was received from Mr Howie. GRAVEL.—The tender of Mr J. Hogg was accented for 350 yards of gravel on No. 2 Line. ' -'I ASSESSMENT COURT.—The Valuation Department wrote asking that the Board nominate a member on tho Assessment Court. The chairman was appointed to Act.
FINANCE—The hank balance was giver, as £124 3s 3d. ACCOUNTS.—SeveraI accounts were passed for payment.
