Mr. Gilbert Anderson read a paper at a meeting of the Cold Storage Ice Association on the need for an international standard in meat inspection. He advocated that all meat for export should bo killed only at licensed slaughter houses after inspection by a veterinary surgeon, who should be empowered to reject for emaciation as well as disease, the Government paying an owner partiabcompensation. ■ - ''
