REDEMPTION OF FLOATING DEBTS. Press Association.—Telegraph.—Copyright. Receiver March 30, 9.15 a.m. CAPETOWN, March 29. The Floating Debt and Public Works Bill, which has been introduced in the Union Parliament, authorises the raising of loans not exceeding £19,100,000 to provide for the redemption of the floating debts of Natal, Cape Colony, and Orange River Colony, totalling .£9,700,000, and also that the surplus revenues at the date of the Union be devoted to debt redemption.
