W.C.T.U. CONFERENCE.

(Per United Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, March 29. The W.C.T.U. passed a .resolution favouring the Bible in schools, legislation fixing the age of protection for boys as well as girls ; raising tho ago of protection of girls to 21 years; giving women equal rights with men in tho guardianship ■ of children, especially with regard to religious instruction; also, lamenting the condition of things in the Dominion with_ regard to degenerates and,,the feeble-mind-ed, and urging the Government to establish homes for their care, and detention; it was also resolved to appoint W.C.T.U. gaol visitors.
