Bowron, Sidney Bowron, and Thomas Knight, who has been twenty years ’in their employ, are being charged at Tower Bridge •Police Court with conspiring- to obtain , <£28,670 by false pretences. “MORE SINNED AGAINST THAN SINNING.” . Received March 29, 11 a.m. LONDON, March 28. Tlie Bowron Bros, and Knight are being charged with having conspired to defraud the Booth Company of Bermondsey, When arrested John Bowron said—“l am more sinned against than sinning. I have given the Official Receiver all information.” The accused have been remanded for eight days, bail being allowed—the Bowrons in £IOOO each and Knight =6590.
