THE REVENUE BILL. Press Association.—Telegraph.—Copyright. Eeceived March 29, 8.15 a.m. LONDON, March 28. In the House of Commons the Eight Hon.H.H. Asquith secured the closure to the Revenue Bill, so as to ensure its third reading on Thursday, instead of to-mor-row.
Mr Balfour strenuously protested, declaring that Mr Asquith had reached a climax in his career, as he had curtailed the liberty of the House of Commons.
