PLAGUE IN INDIA.
VIRULENCE OF THE OUTBREAK. CALCUTTA. March 25. The deaths from plague in India during February numbered 0*,498. The authorities report that the present epidemic is a particularly virulent one, and that the most persistent efforts have so far failed to stamp it out.
