The remaining employees of Singer’s factory have struck, and the factory has been stopped. TIMBER STACKERS’ STRIKE SETTLED. Received March 28, 9.25 a.m. MELBOURNE, March 28. The timber stackers’ strike has been settled. The men get Is 3d per hour, special rates for overtime, and the employers guarantee that non-Unionists will not be employed unless Unionists are unavailable. The agreement operates to November, 1913.
