Mr. Roosevelt, addressing the students of. the University of California, San Francisco, favoured, women’s suffrage. Ho had studied the question deeply, but did not think it important in comparison with other questions effecting women. He summed up the ideal woman as a good wife and mother, capable of rearing a large family.
