FEILDING, March 24. The N.. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report for the week ending 25th. March, as follows: —■ At Eaugiwahia on Wednesday, sheep came forward in good numbers, but fe" - cattle came in. In consequence of the continued dry weather, the demand was slack, the exception of young sheep. Quota-:—Sheep—2-tooth wethers 11s 4d. fat wethers 14s, small 2-tooth ewes 8s 3d, 1tooth ewes 13s. Cattle—Weaner steers 355, 2J-year steers A 5 11s. At Fcilding on Friday we had a heavy yarding of sheep and a good entry of catlie. All classes of stock were dull of sale, but we managed to quit practically the whole of the yarding at prices in favour of the buyers. We quote: Sheep: Cull lambs 3s 3d to 4s Id, store lambs 6s 2d to 7h, ewe lambs 8h sd, fat lambs 9s 6d. 2tooth ewes (small) 7s 6d, others 10s 6d, 2tooth wethers 10s 3d. Cattle: Yearling steers 30s, 15-months steers A2 6s, 2-year steers A 4. 2J-year steers A 5 Is.
