In the Chaffinch mine case, the evidence of several witnesses went to disprove that there had been any “salting.” In reply to Dyasbn’s counsel as to what deceit defendants were charged with, the Crown Prosecutor said it was falsely alleging the “salting” of the mine, and withholding information.
