WANGANUI: CROQUET CLUB, Members are reminded that the "progressive . tournament for the prize -presented by Mrs J. Moore will be plaved to-morrow (Saturday); play to start at . 2:30 Ip.m. punctually. A return match with the Palmerston North players-will lie played on the Wanganui lawns on Thursday, 30th hist. The Wanganui Club visited Palmerston North on St. PatriOk’s.Day, fand played a match against the Palmerston players. The results.was again a -draw, after some! very close‘ games. The Palmerston team: :did everything possible for the comfort of the Wanganui,players, motors being available for going to and returning'from the ground. A luncheon was given in the tea -kiosk on the beautiful ‘esplanade adjoining "the ground. ’
