SALVATION ARMY.
The series of meetings connected with the Salvation Arniy’s harvest festival concluded last evening. Major Johnson, who holds the position of provincial secretary for the North Island, was the special speaker, and had the pleasure' of addressing excellent, audiences, the seating capacity of the barracks on Sunday night being unequal to the occasion. The major is a fine preacher, and his subjects, weijo dealt with in a masterly manner; needless to say, the hearers followed him with intense interest. The Songster Brigade and Brass Band supplied the music, rendering a number of items very efficiently. Adjutant Dawkins wishes to llianlc the many friends of the Army for their kindly .assistance and attendance.
